Hymera SIA, reg. 40203660550 Latvia info[at]hymera[dot]co

This covers what we do with personal data when you visit hymera.co or get in touch.

Who we are

Hymera SIA, registration number 40203660550, registered in Latvia as a business consultancy. We advise European startups on hiring for design and product engineering roles, and introduce them to people who might fit. We are the data controller for everything described here.

What we collect

If you book a call through Calendly, your name and email address. That is all the form asks for.

If you email us, whatever you put in the email.

When you visit the site, Google Analytics collects standard usage data: pages viewed, approximate location, device, and how you arrived. Only if you accept analytics cookies.

Our host, Webflow, keeps server logs including IP addresses, as any web host does.

Why, and on what basis

  • Booking details, so we can have the call you asked for. Basis: steps taken at your request before a contract.
  • Email correspondence, so we can reply and keep a record. Basis: legitimate interest.
  • Analytics, to see which pages people read. Basis: your consent.
  • Server logs, for security and keeping the site up. Basis: legitimate interest.

Who else sees it

Four services process data on our behalf: Webflow for hosting, Calendly for scheduling, Google Analytics for statistics, and Spacemail for email.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Calendly bookings, 12 months from the call. Email correspondence, for as long as the relationship is active. Analytics, according to Google's retention setting.

Keeping it safe

Hymera is two people, and only the two of us have access to any of this. Everything sits in accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, with the providers named above. We do not keep personal data on local machines or in spreadsheets outside those systems.

No system is perfect. If something did go wrong and your data was affected, we would tell you and the Latvian Data State Inspectorate, as we are required to.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict it, or object to us holding it at all. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like.

Write to info[at]hymera[dot]co and we will come back to you within a month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate.

Transfers outside the EU

Some of the services above are run by US companies. Those transfers rely on the standard safeguards the providers have in place, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

For people we contact about roles we are advising on, or who get in touch with us directly. This sits alongside the privacy policy above.

What we hold

Your name, contact details, and public professional information such as your LinkedIn profile, current role and employer. If we take things further, a CV or portfolio, notes from our conversations, and what you are looking for, including salary expectations and location.

We do not ask for special category data and do not want it. Please do not send us anything about health, ethnicity, religion or political views.

Where it comes from

From you, or from public professional sources like LinkedIn.

Why we hold it

To tell you about roles that might interest you, to introduce you to companies we advise where you want us to, and to stay in touch about relevant work later.

Our basis is legitimate interest. Connecting people with work they might want is what we do, and it is what you would expect if you are in contact with us. Any introduction to a specific company happens only with your agreement.

Who we share it with

We send your details to a company only when you have agreed to that introduction. We do not circulate profiles speculatively.

Internally it sits in Loxo, the system we use to keep track of who we have spoken to, and in our email.

How long we keep it

24 months from our last meaningful contact. After that we delete it, or ask whether you want to stay on the list. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.

Your rights

The same rights described above apply here: access, correction, deletion, objection and restriction, along with the right to lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate. To exercise any of them, write to info[at]hymera[dot]co.

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We use very few.

What we use

  • Essential cookies. Needed for the site to work, so they are set without consent.
  • Analytics cookies. Google Analytics, which tells us how many people read a page and roughly where they came from. Only set if you accept them.

No advertising or marketing cookies. No Meta pixel, no LinkedIn insight tag, no retargeting.

Your choice

Decline analytics and the site works exactly the same. You can change your mind through the banner, or clear and block cookies in your browser.
